Clean House

I came home from work tonight and the house had been cleaned??? I thought a cleaning fairy came in and did my dishes, turns out it was my mother in-law. God bless her she even cleaned the microwave!

Billy did really good on his test today and has an interview on Wednesday.

Nathan also had a really good day with grandma today and ate from the bottle like a champ!

Billy's testing is today for a new job through Stevens county corrections, Good Luck Daddy!!!

Ranch Visit

We went up to the ranch again yesterday, and it was sure nice to get out and get some fresh air. Billy worked on some fencing, we need to separate his horse because he is on a special diet. So Billy, Jack and Jevon fixed up a pen for Brick to stay in. While the boys were working on the fence, I put Nathan in the front pack and picked some apples. It wasn't till we got home that I realized just how many apples I picked. Holy Moly! What am I going to do with all these apples! Billy and I also got to work with our horses. It sure felt good getting outside.

On the way home I blew a tire. I am so greatful that Billy was with me! It was dark and cold and getting late. It would have taken me forever to change that tire.

Today we are taking Nathan to get his 3mo pictures done. I think we are going to do a cute Halloween theme, I have a cute outfit that I have been saving for today!

Good Morning

There is nothing quite like getting spit up on first thing in the morning, it wakes you up better than a cup of coffee!

Billy and I are now finding ourselves walking around singing baby songs that get stuck in our heads. The top of the list includes; Bingo, If your happy and you know it, and I'm a little teapot.

Busy

We have been so busy I have forgotten to update the blog.

We got Billy a horse!!(pictures soon to come) My brother Jevon had an old van that we traded for a horse for Billy. The horse is a HUGE thoroughbred, originally named "La Knight" but Billy changed it to "Brick" because of his personality. He is just a big, solid, steady horse.

Nathan is also doing really well and is growing like a weed, I think he has gained some more weight so I should probably take him in to have him weighed. He has been cooing alot more and sometimes he'll even have a conversation with you. It's really cute! Every time I try to get a video of it, he stops talking and just looks at the camera.

Grandma Jackie and Aunt Suzanna are here this weekend!!!! Nathan just LOVES his grandma Jackie, and it will be the first time he has met Aunt Suzanna (lot's of pictures to come)

Tonight Nathan and I were playing and he was drooling all over the place and kept spitting up, so I told him that he was being a gross little baby, that's when he just giggled at me, as if to say this is just the beginning. "Just wait till I come home covered in mud, and playing with gross things like worms!"

Back To Work

Well I am offically back to work. It was nice to get out of the house and visit with other people. I am greatful I only have to work two days a week, that way I can get out and do something different but I don't have to be there long enough to get sick of the drama and stress of working in the Walmart Deli. Nathan did really good on Friday, but Saturday he wouldn't eat from the bottle.

This week Nathan is copying everyone. If you stick your tounge out, he'll stick his out! Or if you bob you head, he'll bob his head, it's really cute!

Billy has a really neat opportunity coming up. He got a letter from Steven's county corrections inviting him to apply as a corrections officer!! On Oct. 30 he will go in for a physical test and a written exam. The top 25 get an interview for the postition. Good Luck Daddy!!!

Something New

Nathan did something new this morning! We were sitting with him propped up on my knees when he lifted his head and tried to sit up! He's not quite to the sitting up part yet but I don't doubt that it will be soon!

He is also doing this bashful type smile where he will smile at you then duck his head. It's really cute!

Home Sick

Well this last weekend wasn't very interesting, I have just been home sick for the last 5 days and finally feel good enough to update the blog. This last weekend was supposed to be my big return to work, but I was so sick I left early the first day and called in the second day. I think Billy was right and I should have just taken and extra week of maternity leave. The good news out of all of this is that I don't think Nathan is going to get my cold. For a couple of day's now he's been kinda cranky and spitting up alot more(I think from the med's I'm taking) but other than that he's not shown any signs of getting as sick as I have been. Thank God!
