Ranch Visit

Billy and I drove up to the ranch for a visit today. The drive up was SO PRETTY! Everything was so green and there were these little purple flowers blooming all over the country side. Jack and Emma were funny and cute as always and love to wrestle with Billy (especially Jack!) Billy and Jevon played with the horses and I got to brush and pet my horse for a few minutes. The weather was wonderful, sunny and 80, Perfect! Couldn't ask for a better day with my honey :)

Rockin' to the beat

Nathan has started a new thing this week, at least once a day he will start kicking to the rhythm of my heart beat! Pretty cool!

35 weeks

Wedding Book

I finished a nice project today, our wedding book. A friend had given up a memento book for our wedding, and I finally got around to finishing it (now that I have the time). I figured before I started Nathan's baby book, I should finish the wedding book. It was a neat trip down memory lane. I got to thinking about how crazy life was this time last year, and all the life changes we have had during that year, and now were going to have a baby! I accomplished two of my major life goals in this year, I got married, and now a baby. It can't get much better than this!

While I was working on this project, I was listening to classical music for Nathan. I think he really likes it cause he was dancing around in my tummy :)

I Can get up!

Well I'm still on bed rest, but not as strict. So that means I can move around alot more, I just have to take it easy, and the doc said to use my own judgement. For the next 10 days I am still going to take this medication every 4hrs to prevent contractions. Once we get me to 36 & 1/2 weeks I'm off the medication, and we will let nature take it's course. After all of this drama I'll probably be two weeks late!

daddy time

Last night Billy laid his head down on my belly to talk to Nathan, and said he could hear the difference in our heart beats :)

And then this morning we were spooning in bed and Nathan kept kicking Billy in his back! the little turkey!

I'm Home!

Well Nathan tried to make his grand entrance the other day. Thankfully they were able to stop the labor at the hospital....scary! So now I'm on bed rest for at least 2 weeks. The doctor wants Nathan to be at least 36 weeks along before I deliver. So thats my goal right now is to do what ever I have to so that Nathan can stay put. The doc said that I have to lay down or recline, and can only get up for 5min an hour. Needless to say Billy has been amazing!! He is right on top of helping me, and has taken on all the cleaning and meal preperations. I love him!!

5 weeks to go..

Yay, time is flying by, just 5 weeks to go till Nathan's due date! Of course he could be early or late(I'm secretly hoping he'll come early so I can get out of work earlier) But I'm feeling great, had a rough, emotional week last week, but thanks to my support system I worked it out. I am REALLY missing riding my horse, and some other things I used to do before I got pregnant. As Aunt Keri put it, I'm a walking incubation unit. But the good news is that I only have a few more weeks and not months. Billy has been a HUGE help around the house because I have such a hard time doing things. I made a big honey-do list of things I wanted to get done around the house before Nathan comes and he didn't even bat an eye, he just said "Ok it will get done". I love him!

Nathan is now 35 weeks along and he is 20in long and over 5lbs. This week his fingernails grew in and his testicles dropped!

counting down

Someone asked me the other day if I was counting down the days till Nathan got here, and I laughed and told them I'm only counting down how much longer I have to work! Nathan can come whenever he wants, but I'm ready for my summer vacation. I bought a new beach bag and a bathing suit(I had to get a 3X just to fit my belly!!) I plan to spend my maternity leave on the beach. Summer here I come :)

Doc Visit

Went to the doc today and he said everything is going great. Nathan is measuring a little big and is about 5lbs. I remembered everything i was going to ask him...LOL silly prego brain can't remember anything.

Spokane Baby Shower

6 weeks to go...

Well today I went and bought our baby some toys. I had so much fun playing with all of them it was hard to decide what to get, but I got some cute stuff. I know Christmas is coming, but I couldn't bring him home and not have some toys for him, What kinda mother doesn't have toys for her baby?

We go to the doc again on Thursday, and I'm going to ask him all kinds of questions, I wish I had wrote down what I wanted to ask him because now I can't remember??? I hope I get my brain back after I deliver.

Well the book says that Nathan is 4-5lbs and 19 inches long and from this point on he will gain a 1/2lb a week. He's gonna be a big boy!

Glowing

I was at the dentist today and all the receptionist told me that I was the cutest pregnant girl they had seen and that I was glowing :)

Great Party!

Had my baby shower this weekend, It was great! I got lot's of useful and cute things. Today I'm spending the day going through everything,washing and finding a home for things.

Nathan found a new comfy spot....right under my right rib!

I finally got 8hrs of sleep..thank god :)
