Standing Up

Nathan is on the move and is using anything he can find to balance himself while he stands.

8 months old

Today Nathan is 8 months old! Holy cow the time has gone by fast!!! Nathan is officially on the move. He is crawling everywhere, and will walk if you hold his hands. Nathan is pulling himself up now too. This past weekend Billy and I baby proofed, and re-arranged the furniture in the living room to make it safer and more baby-friendly. Here are some cute pictures I took of Nathan while he was crawling all over me. He sure is a good looking baby!

Shoes

Nathan just loves shoes, and is always trying to go after my shoes and slippers. Today he found my shoe closet, and that just made him so happy to play with all those shoes.

6 months

Here are Nathan's 6months photos, today we are going to go get his 7 month photos done. My favorite is the one with the brown background, he is so cute!

Yay!

Nathan is crawling!!!!!! It's finally time to bolt everything down, and get child locks for the cupboards.

Spring Time

It feels like Spring! It was 42 degrees and the sun was shining, so we bundled up Nathan and went for a long walk. It felt sooo good to be outside.

Lunch Time

Nathan is now interested in feeding himself. I put the spoon in his hand, and he puts in in his mouth and slurps the food off. We have noticed that he is eating with his left hand, but when he plays with his toys, he uses his right hand, maybe he will be ambidextrous like Pappa P.

Cute Baby

Movin'

Nathan is now moving all over the place. He can crawl backwards, move from sitting to his tummy and back again, and is exploring the space outside of the blanket on the floor. His favorite thing to do is to empty his basket of toys, sometimes one at a time, and sometimes he just flips the whole thing over. Nathan has also figured out that some of his toys make sounds when they are shaken, so each time he grabs a new toy, he gives it a shake to see if it makes a sound. Nathan is definitely showing a preference for certain toys. He likes toys that do something, make a sound, sing etc. and really isn't interested in his stuffed animals which don't do anything. The only exception is his rubber ducky, he loves it, and will pick it out from a whole basket of toys.

We have been really sick this last week, including Nathan, so I took him to the doc on Friday. The doc prescribed an antihistamine to relive his congestion, thankfully his ears and chest were clear.

Too Funny

Every time Billy changes Nathan, Nathan decides to pee all over! It must be some sort of male bonding thing, because Nathan only does it with Billy and not me.

Another milestone!

Nathan stood up on his own!!!!! During his bath last night, he grabbed the edges of the tub and pulled himself into a standing position. He seemed a little unsteady, the first time, but then he kept doing it over and over. This baby is growing up too fast.
