Walking

Nathan can now walk if you hold his hands, before you know it he is going to be on the move all by himself.

Bath time

This baby sure loves his bath! He can now sit up by himself, but you have to hold on to him, because he jumps around like a fish in the water.

Excited

Today I am going to speak to an advisor from Rural Resources about their first-time home buyers program. I keep hearing about all the opportunities for families just like ours, and I'm looking to educate myself, and see if we qualify for any specialty loans. Even if we don't qualify, the advisor told me that she will help us with our finances, so that we can get things in order. Personally, it feels really good to take control of my finances after spending years in avoidance. It's good to have a plan, goals and information. If knowledge is power then I'm feeling VERY powerful today!

P.S. I have now lost 35lbs since I had Nathan, so I am feeling very powerful in my skinny jeans!

P.S.S. On a sad note, both my boys aren't feeling good today. Billy has a stomach bug, and yesterday Nathan got his shots. Both are feverish, and achy, I think I'll make some homemade soup for them and spend lot's of time cuddling both today. Nathan is now 16lbs 10oz!

Happy Valentine's Day

We had a nice morning today, Daddy made us a nice breakfast and we got to hang out as a family all morning long. Here are some pictures of Nathan playing around on the floor. Every once in a while he'll get up on his hands and knees, but for the most part he's really good at creeping backwards and spinning around on his tummy. Nathan has also almost figured out how to get from laying on his tummy up into the sitting position. He is also doing a few more new things: like giving kisses (usually to strange ladies) and if one person is holding him and he wants to go to another person, he is leaning out with his arms out-stretched so that the other person will pick him up. The other funny thing he is doing lately is pulling open other women's shirts and taking a peek. I guess he's comparing??? It's a little embarrassing to have my son peeking down other women's shirts. It's a good thing he's cute!

Happy Birthday Mama!

Today is my 32nd birthday! Happy Birthday to me!
Tonight after work Billy and I are going to have date night and go to the new steak house in town. I am craving a good steak and some red wine. I decided with my birthday money I'm going to go get a massage and a facial. This mama needs some pampering!

My favorite Birthday memory is every year when I was in school, my mama would pack me a special lunch and write me a special note telling me how much she loved me and how happy she was that I was in her life. Feeling kinda homesick for my mama today.
