Cranky Boy

Nathan is soo cranky today! I'm wondering if he is teething?? The only thing that makes him happy is to nurse, so we have been nursing morning, noon and night even if it's not time to eat.Poor baby :(

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving at Aunt Joyce's house. Driving in the snow was a little nerve racking though, I think we will be staying home for Christmas. Nathan even got a little taste of potatoes, gravy and sweet potatoes!

Daddy and Nathan were reading the paper together. Nathan got a little crazy and flipped the paper over his head. It was too funny!

Homesick

I am missing my family in Seattle tonight. I just saw a picture of Suzanna on Facebook baking apple pies with mom, and oh how I wish I could be there too! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday with my parents, and I have many happy memories. I guess that's the neat thing about starting my own family, is that we have a chance to make our own traditions and memories. Still there is nothing quite like going home to mama's house....even if you are all grown up. I miss you guys, Happy Thanksgiving!

Holy Cow! Nathan slept 14hrs last night! He woke up 3 times to eat, but then went right back to bed.

Job Interview

We heard back from Billy's job interview, and they are taking the top 3. Turns out that Billy's was #4. Darn it, he just missed it! They will keep him on a waiting list and if there is an opening he will get a call. Sorry honey, better luck next time.

Nathan has been so tired lately, he has been sleeping 5-6hrs a day as well as 10hrs a night. He is still waking up to eat at night, but he goes right back to bed. I think he is growing!

This week

This week has been really laid back. I think we all needed a break, it seems like we have been running around alot lately, so the rest was nice.

Nathan has been so funny and sweet lately. I feel very blessed to have such a good baby. He is almost sitting up on his own and he can sit up on the couch or in the high chair. I think he has gained weight so next week I will take him in to get weighed. Nathan has had a really hard time adjusting to the time change. His internal clock is off now that we set our clocks back and he wants to go to bed now at 6:30-7.

We still haven't heard back on Billy's interview, we are crossing our fingers though!

What I love about Sunday's

Daddy's watching football, Mama's snuggled up with a book, Baby's taking a nap. There's a big pot of soup on the stove, and choc chip cookies in the oven. It's a good day!
